Katie Penney, Medical Aesthetician

Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa and in 2005 graduated with honors from the Aveda Institute if Chicago. Growing up in the Chicago area, Katie’s passion for skin care grew from an interest in makeup application and products containing plant-based and homeopathic ingredients. Over the past twelve years, Katie has worked with multiple laser platforms to address spider vein removal, skin tightening, hair removal, skin resurfacing and pigment correction. In addition, she performs a variety of body sculpting treatments, collagen induction therapy, underarm sweat reduction, chemical peels, and medical grade facials. Katie, a self-described “product junkie”, uses her skin care knowledge to educate her patients and help them adopt custom at-home regimens to help reinforce their treatment results. Katie has built many lasting relationships with her patients as a result of her friendly nature, honesty and her inherent ability to put patients at ease.
