Sudeep Roy, MD is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He is board certified in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and a graduate of an American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship in aesthetic facial surgery.
Dr. Roy completed his undergraduate premedical studies at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California and received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Graduating at the top of his class, he was awarded membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honors society, reserved for medical students all around the country with the highest academic achievements who also exhibit good character, leadership, professionalism and a dedication to community service.
Dr. Roy went on to pursue a five year residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of the busiest and best surgical training programs in the country. He graduated with over 3000 cases as well as distinction in both basic science and clinical research being awarded the prestigious Stephen F. Balshi Award for Excellence in Resident Research.
Following residency, he was selected for a highly competitive fellowship under the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Austin, Texas, learning the nuances of facial aesthetic surgery from one of the country’s most sought-out facial plastic surgeons, Dr. Edward D. Buckingham. In addition, Dr. Roy has numerous publications and presentations in Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology and is actively involved with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Roy specializes in aging face surgery (including minimally invasive procedures), primary and revision rhinoplasty, facial reconstructive procedures after skin cancer surgery/MOHS and other cosmetic surgeries of the face, ears and neck.
He is fluent in Spanish, Italian, Hindi and Bengali.
